Geekeey are Winners At Essex Digital Awards 2016

THE online achievements of businesses, charities and schools across Essex have been celebrated at the third Essex Digital Awards.

Accolades across 15 categories including “Website”, “Mobile App”, “Use of Social Media for Business” and “Responsive Website” were presented to deserving organisations at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, Colchester, on April 14.

Compering the event was former BBC broadcaster Robin Bailey who presented Gold, Silver and Bronze prizes to a host of worthy winners.

Special guests included Miles Alvis, from the headline sponsor Lookers Volvo Colchester, Alan Woods of the Essex Chronicle, Patrick Maynard from Essex Chambers of Commerce and Danny Hall from associate sponsor Freelance SEO Essex.

The Essex Digital Awards was set up in 2013 to recognise the online achievements of businesses, charities and schools from across the county.

We were amazed that Geekeey who only launched last August was not only nominated as a finalist but also won an award, Stephen Marr quoted “this was a huge achievement for our young company, we were happy to nominated as finalists but to actually win against the big players of our industry is a true a credit to us here at Geekeey”

Geekeey are pushing innovative boundaries to not only build a web presence for our clients but to help them achieve their dreams through the power of online. As more people become aware that new business today is generated through a digital presence we hope and strive to be the company that people choose.
